Evaluations

psychological evaluation

A psychological evaluation can help you answer all of these questions and more.

An evaluation provides a snapshot of your functioning both broadly and in your day-to-day interactions. We gather information from multiple sources and, like pieces of a puzzle, we work to put them together to provide as clear a picture as possible of your strengths, challenges, and available supports. This allows us to offer recommendations for services, programs, and interventions to help you reach your goals and lead a meaningful life.

Choosing an evaluator is an important decision. After all, you’ll be investing your time, money, and energy in this process in hopes of getting the answers you need. At the Carolinas Center, we prioritize transparency with our evaluations to ensure that you always understand the process, what to expect, and what we can (and can’t) answer for you. All of our evaluators hold doctoral degrees in Clinical Psychology, giving you professionals who have attained the highest level of training in psychological testing and interpretation. Most importantly, every team member within the Carolinas Center is committed to providing gender-affirming and culturally sensitive care to all clients, starting with your first call to our admin team and continuing through your final evaluation appointment.

We encourage you to explore the links below to learn more about evaluations, our process, and why we believe you should choose the Carolinas Center.
