Kevin Ross, LCMHC

Kevin Ross is a Board Certified, Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) that specializes in men and trauma. He is trained in ketamine assisted psychotherapy and offers treatment for complex issues such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorders, grief and loss.

As your counselor, Kevin is here to support you in making meaning of your life, create comfort where possible, and uncover resources to help you be your best self.  Taking an evidenced-based and client-centered approach, Kevin aims to provide a safe and supportive space where you can collaborate and work at your own pace to help you reach your goals.

Kevin fundamentally believes all people have an ever-present drive toward wholeness, wellness, and self-actualization. Some people call this drive a soul, others a spirit. Some prefer an evolutionary drive. No matter what label it’s given, Kevin believes that it can be strengthened through a therapeutic relationship. He believes, and evidence suggests, that the relationship developed between the client and counselor will be the vehicle for everything else that happens in therapy. That relationship will always be the priority. Therapy, at its core, is a collaborative process.

Every client is different; therefore, Kevin’s approach varies from client to client. He primarily practices from a person-centered perspective, emphasizing the therapeutic relationship and the creation of a safe and trusting environment. Additionally, Kevin utilizes Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) techniques as well as mindfulness, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness and psychoeducation when working with clients.
