Halleli Stav, LCSWA
Halleli has always been passionate about serving her community and supporting families. She began this journey through her work with domestic violence agencies in Florida while pursuing her bachelor’s degree. During that time, she counseled adults experiencing intimate partner violence and abuse. Halleli went on to participate in a unique program that integrated physical and mental health care at the primary care level while obtaining her Master’s Degree at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Following licensure as a Clinical Social Work Associate in North Carolina, Halleli completed trainings in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy (TF-CBT) as well as perinatal mental health through Postpartum Support International (PSI). Halleli also completed an intensive training program in Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) and received full certification in early 2024.
It can be difficult to ask for help even when we know we need it, and even moreso when it feels like there aren’t enough hours in the day. Halleli’s clinical expertise allows her to provide clients with the treatment they need to process, cope, and heal from the many things that life can throw our way, while also incorporating a proactive and preventative approach through self-care and empowerment. She is particularly passionate about supporting women as they navigate different roles and stages of life. Whether they are struggling with pregnancy-related anxiety after fertility challenges, postpartum depression, parenting a neurodiverse child, or rediscovering oneself after a transition or loss, Halleli brings a wealth of knowledge and a natural warmth to her clients.
Halleli believes that the key to a successful therapeutic relationship is meeting her clients wherever they are on their emotional journey. She works with clients to recognize and embrace their own strengths, using these areas as the foundation for growth toward their desired change. Halleli is an LGBTQIA+ ally and has worked with individuals from the LGBTQIA+ community in different capacities throughout her career. When she isn’t supporting her clients, Halleli enjoys spending time with her family and friends, exercising and hiking.
